I think a 392 can make 550 with the right cam
And head package

Cam choice is critical as 550 rwhp is a stout number for ns 392s

 

So next question is how much of a difference a 426 stroker kit make as far as HP? I’ve seen a lot of procharged or supercharged 426 builds but very few NA.

 

N/A 426 going in my '15 SRT as we speak. Shooting for 550 to the ground on a Mustang dyno.

 

Damn dude, I hope all goes well. With all these forced induction builds, im beginning to appreciate big cubic inch, all motor setups. Something special about a classic muscle car build that excites me more than these big blower builds. Enjoy it!

That is awesome! I would love to do a 426 stroker build. I just need to get a daily driver.
